The Rosicrucian One Dollar Bill

"Franklin was a Rosicrucian.

    the one dollar bill.
Open your wallet, take out a dollar.
Money talks, in pictures
    it talks. See,
        Egyptian pyramid.
Money, American money
    with a pyramid.
The eagle, that you understand,
    thunderbolts in one hand,
olive branch in the other.
So, the pyramid,
    what does that say?
'You have no idea,' it says,
'you don't know the value of money.
Money is to remind you
what's important in life.' Look:
see, a halo with lines…
    above the pyramid,
'Glory,' that's what they call it,
a 'Glory,' burst of light
with the eye of God inside.
But the pyramid is unfinished, it needs work, like you.

'Ach, enough! Enough with money,' says money.
Just remember, God has His eye on you.
And the sun and the moon and the stars are inside you.
So listen, listen to the pyramid.
You can't buy your way into heaven, it's true,
but you need to know money to get there."
